Spacing of tattoo removal sessionsTattoo removal sessions should be spaced 6-8 weeks apart for maximum effectiveness. There is no point working on an area larger than 10 x 10 cm in a single session as the immune system can only breakdown a certain amount of ink and working on larger areas would make the process slower.
Tattoos larger than 10 x 10 cmI often remove larger tattoos such as full arm sleeves. For clients with larger tattoos, such as sleeves the tattoos should be divided into 10 x 10cm sections. Each different 10 x 10cm section can then be worked on at 2 week intervals, but with no same section worked on earlier than 6 weeks.
Consultation and book informationIf it is your first visit to FadeAway Laser Clinic, then please book a session with a free consultation, this allows us enough time to explain the procedure fully to you, to check your medical history and ensure the treatment will be right for you.
All clients will require an initial consultation with a patch test before starting any laser tattoo removal treatment. For some clients this may be possible to combine with a first session but others may have to wait 48 hours between patch testing and a first session.
A free consultation is included with all sessions where we will check your medical history and skin suitability, If there are any reasons that laser tattoo removal treatment will not be suitable for you, or you do not wish to go ahead with treatment after the consultation then a full refund will be given.
